A Rewarding CSR Day at Camphill Milton Keynes - VPS Employees Giving Back to the Community

At VPS, we believe in making a positive impact in the communities where we live and work. As a leading global learning and development organisation under the V2X banner, our commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is more than just a statement—it’s embedded in the way we do business. This is why we were delighted to spend our first annual CSR Day at Camphill Milton Keynes.
This week, the VPS team from our Milton Keynes office spent a day volunteering at Camphill Milton Keynes, a remarkable charity that provides a supportive living and working community for adults with learning disabilities. Camphill is a unique place, offering residents the opportunity to live independently while working in various sectors, including their sustainable “Tools for Self Reliance” project, which gives new life to old tools while providing meaningful employment for residents.
Our VPS volunteers rolled up their sleeves and headed to the gardens, where we spent the day weeding, painting, and tidying the outdoor area. The garden serves as a tranquil space where residents can enjoy coffee breaks and relax, and our goal was to make it an even more welcoming environment for them. Along the way, we had the opportunity to chat with some of the residents, gaining insight into their lives and the incredible support provided by the Camphill community.
For VPS, giving back to the local community is an essential part of our CSR commitment, and this day at Camphill Milton Keynes highlighted the positive difference we can make. The work was fulfilling, the conversations inspiring, and the experience one that will stay with us long after the last brush stroke dried.
